...Reading Iraq China Oil Deal

It's really good that China has become so successful in the world economy... anyone that goes to a store inside the United States will likely find many items made in China. In fact, if a person goes into one of those dollar stores, I expect that 80 or 90% of those items will have come from China... at least it seems that way. That means that China has become rich as a nation overall and many citizens there have much more buying power. This includes purchasing cars.

Demand for oil around the world is at an all time high. China having the capability of using oil increasingly demands much more of it. Unfortunately, our gas will continue to rise.

It's sort of scary to think that China's going around the world looking for oil to purchase because it only makes it worse for us in the United States and other countries. Yes, I know that we in the United States have been spoiled for a long time. We're definitely going to have to tighten our belts in the future as is right now.

Something I have thought about after saying this deal between China and Iraq is that where will the money go to win Iraq gets it? I mean, we have been over there for many years trying to help them get an economy that is somewhat stable. Initially, they were supposed to help pay for everything by using their oil but I don't think that has happened. So, with this $3 billion oil deal with China, will any of that money be paid back to United States citizens? We have paid many years for the reestablishment of Iraq through our tax dollars and it would be nice to have some of that money paid back.

If there's any nation in this world that needs less debt, it seems that we do. We pay all this money to Iraq but we continually increase our mountain of debt as we have continually in the past. This problem in Iraq only makes it worse. So it would be nice if Iraq paid some of that money back.

Getting older has its good points and bad points... one of those bad points is your body's ability to retain fat much easier. I got a little of that myself. Actually, a little more fat than I would really care to admit to myself. However, I realize I have some that needs to go away.

Some of this fat located in my belly or stomach probably is the most serious. This article, lose the stomach fat , tells little more about the seriousness of why I am thinking about trying... at least trying to get rid of it.

Sometimes I really can't believe how fast time flies, especially when you get older. It seems that one week in your older age is equal to about one day or even a half a day when you were a child. These years just fly by so fast it seems that it was only yesterday.

Not only time but look at technology. We now have MP3s and CDs for listening to music. It seems that we have lost a lot but also gained. There's definitely a difference between old records and those CDs or MP3s of today. Whenever I hear a vinyl record being played, it seems a fair amount different. I remember those 78 rpm records which were so enjoyable to hear. How about those 33 RPM LPs.

Interestingly enough, but recently searched about possibly obtaining some of these old records and came about an interesting site that displays some available records for sale. Right here you can get 78 records for sale

The sounds that these records give cannot be matched in various respects to the technology we have today. I would never want to give up my MP3s and CDs but sometimes it's nice to be able to hear the sounds of yesterday on vinyl records. I'm really thinking about getting into collecting some of these in further amounts.

Maybe you have been watching the Olympics lately. Did you happen to see the opening ceremony? I first thought about it when I happened to see a post about a prerecording of the ceremony practice session Chinese Olympics Ceremony Preview On Video

Someone actually recorded the Olympic ceremony practice without officials actually knowing. I guess it might have been a violation of copyright to distribute the video online but it was certainly interesting while it lasted. Chinese officials did all they could to rid the Internet of this copyrighted video. I think they were successful. Anyway, this is sort of an example of the Chinese government being very controlling.

There are two other examples of the Chinese being very manipulative regarding the Olympics. In the Olympic opening ceremony, do you happen to remember the little girl singing? This little girl was actually lip-synching to the vocals that were actually saying by a different younger girl behind the scenes. Apparently, the other younger girl behind the scenes was not good looking enough or cute enough to be seen worldwide.

Also, the Chinese somehow required the fireworks video to be incorporated into the politics ceremony broadcast although the fireworks could not actually be seen from the stadium. It was almost like they were adding it in much like a movie would during editing to create a more interesting experience for the viewer.

Recently, I was looking at this article http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/apwire/9d8d71484b7f5044982bc228ec730afd.htm

where he talks about guarding your identity. This definitely comes close to home since someone used my identity to take down an account with AT&T cell phone service a year ago. That almost seem like I had gotten raped... I will say that I know it definitely was not anything like that though because I have never been or would want to be raped. Therefore, I really should not compare identity being stolen to getting raped so I'm sorry for even mentioning it.

Anyway, having someone take out an account online can be somewhat debilitating. I found out that this person actually got enough information about me to get access to my credit report online. You know that website that allows people to get free access to their credit reports annually. You can do this for free every year.

Anyway, soon after I found out that an AT&T account was set up under my name and credit, I decided I needed to access my current reports. I knew that I could get access to my credit reports online for free every year so I decided to find that website. Eventually I found it. However, after attempting to get access, I found out that someone had gotten access a week before. Since someone already gotten access, I was not allowed to get access again within the year. So it was disheartening to find out that someone had all my credit information. This means they had my so security number, my name and address, and since they got access to my credit files, they had all this other information now also.

I then went into the process of rectifying everything. I went to the local AT&T store to close the account and tell them about someone using my name to create an account. I had to fill out various forms. I then went to the local police station to file a report. Later I put a stop on all my credit reports to prevent people from setting up more accounts.
